FAQ's

REGISTRATION: How do I register?

REGISTRATION: The registration is pretty easy. On our Homepage you can find the section sports program. You can choose the appropriate courses there. Before you can book, you first need the sports card. This is, so to speak, the "admission ticket" for the offer of university sports and is valid for the entire semester. Afterwards you can book your courses. There are both free and paid courses. You must register online for both variants. As a general rule: No participation in courses without registration. If there is a course booked out, you have the possibility to register on the waiting list. As soon as places become vacant, you will automatically be informed and you can register again for the course.

COSTS: In order to be able to use the offer of the university sport for one semester, you first have to buy a sports card. The price depends on your status (student / employee / alumni / external). The current prices for the sports card can be found on our homepage in the section "sports program". Once you have purchased your sports card, you can book the courses of your choice. WAITING LIST: What happens if a course is booked out and how does the waiting list work?

WAITING LIST: Once a course is booked out, (temporarily) no more bookings are possible for the course. However, you have the option to enter the waiting list, which appears at the place where you usually could book the course. If you enter here, you will be informed when places become vacant again. Tip: At the start of the semester, not all places will be enabled until the end of the trial week, so that everyone can register for the course even after the trial week. If, therefore, a course is booked out at the beginning of the booking start, there is definitely a second chance after the trial week.

TRIAL WEEK: Is it possible to try out courses before I book a course?

TRIAL WEEK: The first week of the two semester program periods is basically a trial week to check your desired courses without obligation. In this trial week you can go to (almost) all courses, without having to register before. Excluded from this are the sports, in which for the sake of insurance and / or organizational reasons a testing can not be allowed. If a testing is not possible, you will find a note in the course description on our homepage. After the trial week, no more testing is possible. If a course does not start in the first week of the program, the course can not be tested. In the two program periods of the lecture-free period (holiday program) there is no trial week.
For all courses where testing was allowed, on Monday after the trial week, 20% of the available course places will be unlocked. So you have the possibility to register for your course even after the trial week.
